I started with the Lollipop Collective in June 2023. I had only been making polymer clay & resin jewellery for about 6 months prior to this and that’s when the opportunity to join the collective popped up. 

I thought to myself if not now, then when?.. so I jumped in and thought I’d give it a go for 6 weeks. Well, shortly after I started, I went through a family tragedy of losing my mum. I didn’t know if I could see myself keeping up with the collective, mum life and grieving the loss of such an important person in my life. The Lollipop girls were so supportive and helped with everything they could, checking in on me and allowing me to take a step back if needed. 

 

I stayed on and to be completely honest I think that was the best thing I did at the time, as being a part of the collective really helped my grieving process. My work became my therapy. The collective became like a second family to me and I am beyond grateful and blessed to have been welcomed with open arms. 

 

Here I still am 1 and a half years later, I’ve just had another amazing Christmas with the collective. I have learnt so much about myself and my business while I’ve been with the Lollipop Collective. I’ve had my highs and lows as all businesses do, but I never felt not supported. I was encouraged in the lows and cheered on in the highs.

Hi there! We're Bianca and Mel - two Adelaide mums, business owners and big believers in the power of small business. Our love affair with markets began as customers, charmed by their mission to spotlight small, local businesses with a focus on boutique products. What started as a simple idea through COVID-19, has grown into Australia's largest Collective brand showcasing stores and major events.

Our commitment has always been to nurture a community that celebrates local businesses and boutique finds, expanding from Adelaide to Melbourne to Queensland and now Sydney.

How do I apply to join the collective pop-up shop?

To apply, simply click the "uncover the next steps" button and watch a quick video that fills you in on all the ins and outs. Request a call back and our friendly team will phone you back to answer any further questions not covered by our FAQ video. Ready to go ahead straight away? Simply fill out our online application form with details about your brand and products by clicking the "uncover the next steps" button. We're looking for unique, creative, and high-quality items that will delight our shoppers. Make sure to share your brand's story and what sets your products apart.

What are the criteria for selection?

We evaluate applicants based on the uniqueness of their products, the quality and craftsmanship, their brand's story, and how well they fit with the collective's ethos and the diverse range of products we aim to showcase.

What costs are involved in participating?

Participants will share the costs associated with renting space in the shopping centre, running the pop-up shop, or sharing in the costs of one of our signature market events. We aim to keep costs affordable by dividing them among all participating brands. Detailed cost breakdowns will be provided to interested applicants.

Can I choose where my booth is located?

Booth locations are determined based on the layout of the pop-up shop and the specific needs and sizes of each brand. We strive to place your brand in the best possible location to attract shopper attention and complement the overall flow of the shop or market.

What support is provided for new vendors?

All participants will receive support in setting up their booths, including design and layout advice, as well as tips for engaging customers and maximizing sales. Additionally, we offer marketing support through our collective's social media channels and shopper databases, increasing visibility for your brand.

How long does the pop-up shop last?

The minimum duration of our pop-up agreement is 6 weeks. You can renew at the end of this period, bump out or extend to our VIP tier of 6 months.

Where are the pop-up shop locations?

In South Australia we are located at Westfield Marion, Westfield West Lakes, Westfield Tea Tree Plaza and Rundle Place.

In Victoria our pop up kiosks are located at Northland Shopping Centre and Watergardens Centre.

In Queensland our pop up kiosks are located at Westfield Chermside, Westfield Carindale, Westfield North Lakes, Westfield Mt Gravatt, Westfield Coomera, Pacific Fair and Hyperdome.

In Sydney we are located in Westfield Penrith, Westfield Miranda and Rouse Hill.

Where are your market event locations?

In South Australia become a vendor at the Royal Adelaide Show plus our signature baby and parenting market held yearly.

In Victoria become a vendor at the Royal Melbourne Show.

In New South Wales become a vendor at the Royal Sydney Show.

In Queensland become a vendor at the Royal Brisbane Show.
